Christmas Baby Isabel!

On December 23 at 4:19 pm Isabel (Izze) Ackerman came into this world. After measuring smaller than the week before at a regular visit it was determined that Julie's ambionic fluid was too low for Isabel the remain in Uterus. She was also breach. So after an emergency c-section our little christmas angel came. Julie and Bear are so happy and excited. She weighed 5 pounds 8 ounces and is now home and both mother and baby are doing great. We were all a little nervous about her being 3 1/2 weeks early but everything worked out great. What a great Christmas present.

Visit from Grandma and Grandpa Eberhard

Grandma and Grandpa came to visit this weekend they helped us build a gingerbread house. The kids thought that was great fun but I think they ate more candy than they put on the house.
Jack shingled the roof with Neco candy. He did a great job

This is the finished product. We were happy when the house was done but so sorry to see Grandma and Grandpa leave on Sunday. We were so grateful the the visit Grandma and Grandpa and love you a lot. Thanks.

More Snow! Yikes!

We woke on Monday morning to a foot of new snow.
Rodney could not get the snow blower started and had to dig out by hand so we could take Jack to school. After he dropped Jack off he borrowed Troy and Jolinda's blower and spent the rest of the day cleaning the rest of the driveways off.

Rodney might not have enjoyed the snow Gracie and Samuel love it and had a great time playing in the deep snow.

Christmas decorating

We spent last Sunday afternoon putting up our Christmas decorations. I always love this time of year and having kids to help just make it all the more enjoyable. Only a few decorations got broke this year while putting them up.

Footsie Pajamas

One of my favorite things about the cold weather is footsie pajamas. I think the kids are so cute in them.

Storage shelves.

While we were in Utah for Thanksgiving we bought some shelve so that I could organize and clean out our basement. We bought them while we had an exta kid and so Rodney ended up riding in the back with the shelve. There was not a lot of room but he was a good sport. Luckily once he had a chance to strap some of the shelves to the top of the car and we got rid of the extra child he had room to ride in front and did not have to ride that was all the way home to Cascade.

Prom hair

Gracie and I have a lot of fun playing with her curly hair. These cute ringlets fell out of her hair and looked so cute I had to take a picture.

Cool Shoes.

Thanksgiving 2007

We had a great Huckaby Thanskgiving at the Eberhard Presidential suit in Bothwell, Utah. We had a great time and of course Rodney's favorite thing was cooking with his mom. If you notice there is no turkey on the table. We had Argentine Neokis instead. It was great!

5 Signs of Winter!

Happy kids in the snow!
Cute hats!

Heavy winter coats!

Piles of wet clothes by the fire!

Weird air effect over the lake.

Way to go Jack!

Jack got a sportsmanship award at his first quarter awards assembly. We are so proud of him. Last year he got three academic awards after the first two he started saying he wanted to get a different award so he was so happy that he did.

Bunkbed joy!

We bought a bunkbed at a yard sale. Gracie had a blast putting them up. They wanted them to be a jungle gym instead of a bed.

Snow!!!!!

Well now there is no denying that winter is here. This is about two hours of snow fall. Jack was so excited that when he got home from school it took him about 30 seconds to get his snow clothes on and bound out into the snow. Wish I could be as excited.

So cute!

I don't know why but I just loved this picture. I was trying to get Samuel to pull a funny face for the camera that he had pulled before. Of course once the camera came out he wouldn't do it he just pulled this shy little face.

Cute Rodney

You just can't help but love a man who loves babies so much.

I was tagged!

I was tagged by my friend Robbie and since I am pretty much stupid about blogging stuff I think it means I am suppose to write 6 things about myself so here I go.
1. I always wanted to be a dancer and so I dance around the house like my life is a muscial. This makes me happy. Rodney also thinks it is funny.
2. I am addicted to sweets. I would rather eat dessert than the main course any day.
3. I love nothing more than hearing my kids giggle and laugh.
4. I had a huge crush on my husband in high school and consider it a real victory that I ended up married to him.
5. I love to shop and get new clothes. That is what I do when I am down about life. Nothing like a good shopping trip to lift your spirit.
6. When I am a millionaire I want to buy a plane and take flying lessons. I have always wanted to fly my own plane.

Halloween!!

Samuel was the cutiest little devil.

Gracie was a beautiful Fairy.

Jack was a very scary werewolf.

We had a lot of fun passing out candy.

Huckaby Trick of Treaters

Flood Trouble

The city broke the water main in front of our house and flood the garage in our yard. Troy lost a lot of paper work to the water and the land lord had some furniture that got damaged. It made for a crazy week.

Fall Fun!

Jack likes to help. The scarecrow festival was no different.
I was in charge of the scarecrow festival dispay for the church. The theme was "In the Begining" a tribute to miners, loggers and ranchers. This is my cute logger cuting down a tree.

Samuel got left a little to long unsupervised with his dinner. Besides loving to eat he loves to finger paint with his food.

Samuel the Cutie

Samuel very first Tie.

Samuel is such a ham. I just love taking pictures of him.

Conference sleepers!!

Everyone got a lot out of conference.

We spent the weekend of conference in Utah visting family. We went to the Clark Planitarium with the Eberhard Grandparents and saw a 3d movie about Dinosaurs. The kids had a lot of fun and Gracie said "Mom the movie didn't even scare me." Everyone looked really cute in their 3d glasses.
