Mommy's little helper!

Samuel is really getting into helping mom with her vinyl lettering. He always wants to be right in the middle of what ever I am doing and of course he has a little help from big brother and sister.

New glasses!

I know this is not really that thrilling but really I don't have a lot to blog. I know that everyone is as sick of seeing snow pictures as I am of taking them but really that is all there is in Cascade right now. But I got a new pair of glasses and since I rarely take pictures of myself I thought this occasion warranted one. I messed with the picture to make it look sortof like a painting. I had to do something to help it out a little. There is a reason I don't take pictures of myself.

Happy Valentines

Rodney who is always trying to be creative and who was inspired by the winter carnival wanted to make me a ice sculpture for Valentines day. It didn't really work out very well and he was a little disappointed. I really make me laugh which I needed and really isn't it the thought that counts.

Cabin Fever

Samuel was learning to eat snow from Jack and Gracie.
Sledding fun!

Samuel had a ball.

Happy to be out.

I have been suffering from some seriouse cabin fever because of all the snow and being stuck in the house but on saturday it was so nice and warm we went on a long walk with the kids. It was good for me and the kids. We had a great time. Also Jacks cousin Madi sent him an assignment for her school class. We were suppose to make a Flat Stanley and then tell the class about were we live through him. So we took Flat Stanley with us and he had a great time too.

Foot News

Jacks toe got more and more bruised everyday.
Everything went fine with the specialist. Jack was a little disappointed because he didn't get a cast just this shoe. The doctor said he was young a would heel just fine. Thank goodness!

Snowed In!

The snow in the backyard is getting very deep. With what has fallen and what we have blown with the snow blower the snow is as tall as the deck railing about (9 or 10 feet)
Our house it getting hard to spot from the road.

Road in front of our house. It will look like this until probably April except maybe more snow added.

Notice the stalagtite at the right of the picture it goes from the roof all the way down to the snow.
It has been snowing hard for several days. Jack's school was cancelled both Thursday and Friday this week. We are hoping it will let up soon or we are going to be buried.

Never a dull Moment

Jack is way happy to be at the doctor for a check of the swelling.
As if life was starting to get dull and to perdictable Jack helped shake things up. On Sunday he slipped off the top bunk and broke his foot. He broke it in 3 places. The second, third and fourth Metatarsals. This is a temperary half cast. On Monday the 4th we have to go to a specialist to make sure he doesn't need surgery. Then he will get a more permant cast.

Binky Addict!

Samuel loves his binky so much I caught him trying to suck on it while eating a sucker. I think we have a problem.

New Hair Cut.

Gracie got a new hair cut. Does it look like I am making a mini me?
