Christmas Baby Isabel!

On December 23 at 4:19 pm Isabel (Izze) Ackerman came into this world. After measuring smaller than the week before at a regular visit it was determined that Julie's ambionic fluid was too low for Isabel the remain in Uterus. She was also breach. So after an emergency c-section our little christmas angel came. Julie and Bear are so happy and excited. She weighed 5 pounds 8 ounces and is now home and both mother and baby are doing great. We were all a little nervous about her being 3 1/2 weeks early but everything worked out great. What a great Christmas present.

Visit from Grandma and Grandpa Eberhard

Grandma and Grandpa came to visit this weekend they helped us build a gingerbread house. The kids thought that was great fun but I think they ate more candy than they put on the house.
Jack shingled the roof with Neco candy. He did a great job

This is the finished product. We were happy when the house was done but so sorry to see Grandma and Grandpa leave on Sunday. We were so grateful the the visit Grandma and Grandpa and love you a lot. Thanks.

More Snow! Yikes!

We woke on Monday morning to a foot of new snow.
Rodney could not get the snow blower started and had to dig out by hand so we could take Jack to school. After he dropped Jack off he borrowed Troy and Jolinda's blower and spent the rest of the day cleaning the rest of the driveways off.

Rodney might not have enjoyed the snow Gracie and Samuel love it and had a great time playing in the deep snow.

Christmas decorating

We spent last Sunday afternoon putting up our Christmas decorations. I always love this time of year and having kids to help just make it all the more enjoyable. Only a few decorations got broke this year while putting them up.

Footsie Pajamas

One of my favorite things about the cold weather is footsie pajamas. I think the kids are so cute in them.

Storage shelves.

While we were in Utah for Thanksgiving we bought some shelve so that I could organize and clean out our basement. We bought them while we had an exta kid and so Rodney ended up riding in the back with the shelve. There was not a lot of room but he was a good sport. Luckily once he had a chance to strap some of the shelves to the top of the car and we got rid of the extra child he had room to ride in front and did not have to ride that was all the way home to Cascade.
