Four Trees standing right in the middle of our lots. The tall tree on the left if left standing would be right in the middle of my future family. That is if we can ever get a loan. So they had to come down. Rodney and Troy don't have a lot of experience cutting down trees and so we were a little worried for the neighbors homes.
They decided to practise on a small tree first. There is an art to making the tree fall were you want it to. After succeeding with the small tree we felt better about cutting down the bigger one.

The stake on the right was the goal where they wanted the tree to land. Not to bad for first timers.
