The kids love the parade. They gather more candy than they do trick or treating. We had a lot of fun I had a booth selling crafts right on the parade route so we got the kids a bubble blower to entertain them while the parade was not going on. Samuel thought it was the best thing in the world.
Jack got a hand-me down shirt and it matched one that he had given to Harris so they dressed a like then Rodney put them to work pulling nails out of boards. I just happened to catch them doing exactly them same thing at the same time. I thought it was so funny.
Gracie had a little run in with some pine sap in the back of her hair. I could not get it out so I had to cut it. Here are the result. It did not turn out too bad I guess you could say that I am an aspiring hair dresser.
I really think little kids look so cute in overalls. I just can't help take pictures. And of course nothing too exciting is happening to blog about so you get to see the everyday boring.
I wanted to braid Gracie's hair but she wasn't being very cooperative so Roxy volunteered to have her hair braided too so Gracie would want to. They looked really cute together........ And a little goofy.
Gracie took swimming lessons for two weeks in June. She didn't use a life jacket everyday but this day they were learning what to do if they fell off a boat. On the last day it was free swim and Roxie joined Gracie for the fun. Everything Gracie does she does with her own little style.
Harris got a bike helmet for his birthday but it was too small for his head. It did fit Jack though so he got it and we had to get Harris a different one. Jack had a fun time trying it on and posing for the camera. Samuel also had a fun time trying on the helmet but he would not stand still for a picture he wanted to get right outside and try them out. I thought he looked so cute.
