Snowed In!
The snow in the backyard is getting very deep. With what has fallen and what we have blown with the snow blower the snow is as tall as the deck railing about (9 or 10 feet)
Our house it getting hard to spot from the road.
Road in front of our house. It will look like this until probably April except maybe more snow added.
Notice the stalagtite at the right of the picture it goes from the roof all the way down to the snow.It has been snowing hard for several days. Jack's school was cancelled both Thursday and Friday this week. We are hoping it will let up soon or we are going to be buried.
Never a dull Moment
Jack is way happy to be at the doctor for a check of the swelling.
As if life was starting to get dull and to perdictable Jack helped shake things up. On Sunday he slipped off the top bunk and broke his foot. He broke it in 3 places. The second, third and fourth Metatarsals. This is a temperary half cast. On Monday the 4th we have to go to a specialist to make sure he doesn't need surgery. Then he will get a more permant cast.Binky Addict!

Trip back to Cascade
Gracie was quite the traveler. She had to be frisked at airport security because she had a metal belt that was connected to her pants and we couldn't take it off. She was a little nervous but took it in stride. She was so excited to ride an airplane.
Eating dinner at the airport while waiting for our plane.
After spending a few weeks in Utah to help my sister Nicolle we flew home. Gracie was excited. Samuel a little less so. They were great sports though and traveled very well. We were very glad to be back home but wish we were closer to our family so we could still be of help. We love eveyone so much and have learned a lot this last month. The biggest thing I have learned I think is that you shoud never take one moment of life for granted. Tell the people that you love that you love them every chance you get and live life to the fullest. I sure wish we could learn the lessons without the trials. Love you all.Saturday, January 5, 2008
